The Down to Earth Worker

Secca is a sans serif family with low to medium contrast and workhorse qualities. The font family is suitable for a wide range of applications, especially where legibility and economy are important.

The core family comes in 9 weights, from Thin to Ultra Black – plus three Hairline weights – each with italics and small caps. While the weights from Light to Bold work well in text sizes, the extreme weights provide an additional typographic choice for headlines.

For setting tables and charts, Secca offers tabular figures, fractions, currency signs and mathematical operators that have the same fixed width across the entire weight range. This special feature is called »weight duplexing« and is a time-saver when setting figures in annual reports and other number-heavy documents.
